Lose Weight & Keep It Off – Kick Start Your Weight Loss Journey With CJA Lifestyle
CJA Lifestyle provides long-lasting, impressive results, with individuals losing weight and keeping it off with our weight loss and weight maintenance plan.
The CJA Lifestyle Plan is aimed at patients with a BMI of 30 or more with at least one weight-related issue such as high blood pressure, type two diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood triglycerides.
Our qualified doctors will develop a program to help you achieve your goals through improved diet, increased physical activity, improved sleep quality and looking at your mindset when it comes to food. To kick-start your plan, you may be prescribed Saxenda® (liraglutide) which is MHRA* licensed for treating people struggling with their weight.
*The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is an executive agency of the Department of Health and Social Care in the UK which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work and are acceptably safe.
Patients Lose Up To 20lb In A Month On The CJA Lifestyle Plan
As part of your weight loss and lifestyle journey, your CJA Lifestyle doctor will prescribe Saxenda which is a once-daily, self-injectable medicine that comes in a prefilled pen.
Saxenda works by helping the pancreas to release the right amount of insulin when blood sugar levels are high. You should take your medicine each day at any time that is convenient for you, with or without food.
You inject under the skin, rather than into a vein or muscle, usually into the stomach, upper thigh or upper arm. The average monthly cost of these injections is £200.
However, your first step is to book in for a consultation which costs £75. During your consultation we will explain the process and answer all your questions.
If you decide to go ahead, and your suitability for the CJA Lifestyle Plan is confirmed, you may be prescribed the appropriate number of medical treatments and be given a bespoke nutritious meal plan, exercise plan and general help and advice. Your fee includes access to our doctors for support and advice throughout your weight loss journey.
Monitoring Your Progress While Taking Saxenda
Your CJA Lifestyle doctor will monitor your progress while taking the Saxenda medication so it is important you let us know if you experience any side effects. Saxenda is not suitable for pregnant or breast feeding women, those with stomach problems if you have or have had problems with your pancreas, kidneys or liver. Some patients experience nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation and gas which is usually transient and passes within a couple of days. Our doctors will discuss all possible side effects during your initial consultation.
